Description:Clamshell cardboard box with title-sticker on lid of the box, 33,5 x 24 x 5,5 cms., containing opproximately 150 documents, loose as issued, all authentic in 7 folders and 1 envelope, [clamshell box shows some slight foxing marks as have the folders, the rubber bands fail but replaced, but generally in very good condition].
Note:Artist's Book. ? Impressive collection of 'original' documents relating to the history of a Berlin house at the Grosse-Hamburger-Strasse which was destroyed in WW II. Printed in 120 numbered copies, of which 100 were for sale, all signed 'C. Boltanski' (this being numbered '85/100'), both in pencil on colophon-sticker at the interior of the lid. Comprising of 7 folders and 1 envelope of which the labels read as follows: "La maison manquante"; "Autour de la maison manquante"; "Ceux qui vivaient au 15, Grosse-Hamburger-Strasse 1930-1945"; "Kurt porteset"; "Madame Kalies"; "Monsieur Schnapp"; "Le 3 f?vrier 1945"; "Le cahier des quittances".
