Note:Rare Artist's Book. Enclosed the English translation of the Dutch text: What I am doing and have been doing + large leaflet of (6) pp. with illustrations written by Jan Donia titled: The position of Hans de Vries, (6) pp. with illustrations + sheet of 'The Netherlands Ministry for Cultural Affairs, recreation and Social Welfare' with the compliments of Gijs van Tuyl. *Hans de Vries kept a diary for almost a year to make notes of all the animals wich were killed by traffic in Beerta (Netherlands). Discreet small fold (5 cms.) to lower left corner of back wrapper, otherwise a fine copy. *Although not trained as an artist, De Vries, self-designated as an artist, participated in 1971 in some high profile exhibitions like Sonsbeek Buiten de Perken (Sonsbeek Beyond the Pale), Park Sonsbeek, Arnhem (NL) and Binnen en Buiten het Kader (Inside and Beyond the Frame), Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam (NL).
